The 4th UN PRME Chapter North America Regional Meeting ‘The 10th Anniversary of the PRME Initiative: Realizing the SDGs through Education, Research and Partnership’ takes place October 18-20, 2017 at the College of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, with pre-conference events and an opening reception on the 18th.
Awards to be presented
UN PRME Chapter North America Awards for Excellence in Responsible Management Education will be announced. Award recipients will receive an honorarium and a plaque in the following three categories: (1) teaching; (2) research or scholarly/creative activities; and (3) service.

A Call for Papers
In conjunction with the meeting, we are issuing a ‘Call for Papers’. We ask that papers/presentations address themes drawn from the Sustainable Development Goals in the areas of (1) pedagogy or student engagement, (2) research in corporate social responsibility and/or sustainability, and (3) service or outreach.

Students to compete
Lastly, we are pleased to announce a student competition. Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit a paper which identifies the ways in which a corporation is helping to achieve specific objectives/targets associated with one or more of the SDGs. Three undergraduate and three graduate finalists will be invited to present their findings at the meeting.
